Day 1
Just imagine living the chateau life with a select group of foodies, learning the culinary delights of Burgundy, shopping the local markets, barrel and wine tastings in local domaines, producing fresh seasonal feasts with some of Australia’s greatest chefs….

Day two
This morning is market day in Beaune; where we will design tonight’s menu and purchase the wonderful produce that is so famous here at this colourful and vibrant market.
The afternoon is spent in the chateau kitchen working with your chosen chef, culminating in a fabulous dinner at the chateau accompanied by wonderful Burgundy wines from the Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune, selected by our resident sommelier, Alexandre Philippe.

Day three
An early morning walk along the Canal de Bourgogne before a morning Masterclass with Alexandre at the chateau. Here Alexandre will explain the complexities and appellations of the Cote de Nuits and the Cote de Beaune.
After a picnic lunch in the chateau’s park, you will have the afternoon in the kitchen for your second class with your chosen chef.

Day four
An easy start to the day; mid morning we travel to the Cote de Nuits for a visit and tasting at a renowned domaine before heading back to the chateau.
Free time at the chateau in the afternoon before heading to the gorgeous village of Beaune for dinner.

Day five
Market day in Dijon’s Les Halle – Burgundy’s largest market place, designed by Gustav Eiffel, to create the menu for this evenings’ dinner.
Lunch will be enjoyed at a market bistro before heading back to the chateau for your third class in the kitchen.

Day six
Today we travel to the Cote du Nuits for a wine tasting at a private domaine; this will either be in the cellars, or a vineyard. There is nothing quite like enjoying a stunning Pinot Noir in the vineyard where the fruit was grown.
We follow on with a long lunch at La Ferme de La Ruchotte with chef Frederic Menager who specialises in breeding poultry which is served in the restaurant in Bligny-sur-Ouche.

Day seven
A quiet morning for a last walk along the Canal de Bourgogne or the stunning grounds of the chateau, before heading to the Abbaye de la Bussiere for a long lunch on the terrace overlooking the manicured park and lakes.
On return to the chateau we join together for one last aperitif and a light supper on the walls of the garden to watch the final Burgundian sunset

Day eight
After a leisurely breakfast we bid farewell to the chateau and travel back to Dijon for your onward journey and reflect on the past weeks…..
